Description - Description: The chopper system is used to generate a pulsed neutron beam from the continuous beam on the ICON, NEUTRA and BOA instruments in order to perform wavelength-resolved neutron imaging measurements based on the time-of-flight (ToF) method. For this purpose, the chopper system is used in combination with a detector system that is not part of the current tender. The chopper system is not permanently installed in an instrument, but is installed and removed from the desired instrument according to the experimental measurement program.
