Description - Description: The Republic of Uzbekistan has been constructing a 240 km section (Kungrad to Daut-Ata) of the A380 highway (Guzar–Bukhara–Nukus–Beyneu) in the Republic of Karakalpakstan (hereinafter “240 km Karakalpakstan Road” or “project road”), with financing from Asian Development Bank (ADB). The civil works for this road have been completed and the road is being handed over to the Committee for Roads. To ensure effective road maintenance and sound traffic management, the Government of Uzbekistan aims to develop toll roads across the country.
