Newark and Sherwood District Council have ownership of a small area of woodland (Intake Woods) in Clipstone, Nottinghamshire. A felling licence has been applied for to remove several parcels of mature Corsican Pine and to thin a number of additional parcels of Corsican pine and mixed broadleaf trees (Approval for the clear felling has been given and amendments agreed).
