Description - Description: Fermanagh and Omagh Council (FODC) invites Tenders from experienced hydropower specialists for the Recommission, Operation and Management of the Camowen Hydro Scheme located in Omagh, for a Period of 10 years. . The successful tenderer w ill recommission the Hydro Scheme, and enter into lease agreement with the Council, which will include a power purchase agreement, whereby the tenderer will supply electricity to the co-located leisure centre at an agreed price point, via the in-situ Council-owned private wire. The objective of the hydro-power facility, is to: • Generate electricity and supply co-located Omagh Leisure Complex; • To sell-off surplus power to the national grid.
