Description - Description: This dynamic procurement system (hereinafter also referred to as "DPS") targets terrain mapping equipment.The Land Surveying Institute is currently renewing its own terrain data production system. The system collects and updates data fro m the national terrain database and produces general map products. The system is developed on top of the open source QGIS spatial data software. The system is used by about 150 mappers all over Finland. The aim of the reform is to enable even higher quality, national and up-to-date basic location information. At the same time, the maintenance of the material is being developed more efficiently in order to reduce duplicate material collection work
