The present project aims to create a video surveillance system with 39 cameras of which: • 27 IP cameras, 5MP • 8 IP cameras with AP (access point) • 4 LPR cameras, 4MP Megapixel IP video cameras (The network camera saves a lot of bandwidth enough bandwidth to record and store the images for a period of at least 30 days. On the other hand, due to the longer duration of the legislative procedures, especially in the case of crimes committed in the public space (30, 45 and 60 days respectively), recommends that the system allows either the recording of all images for a period of at least 60 days, or the saving on external media of those recordings that can represent legal evidence. The system must be operational permanently, with the possibility of back-up in the moment of voltage drops on the electricity supply network and to be equipped with the function of automatic resumption of the recording when the electricity supply is restored. The system is used in order to increase the safety of citizens, to prevent acts of violence, destruction or other antisocial actions. The video surveillance system aims to ensure the permanent and efficient surveillance of areas of interest, road and pedestrian access roads. The structure of the system consists of a set of IP cameras mounted on lighting poles, connected to a monitoring point in the building owned by UAT Saulesti, in a room intended for this purpose. IP cameras are outdoor cameras designed to withstand harsh conditions in the external environment (cold, heat, rain, dust). The cameras are placed on the light poles to ensure a fairly wide field of vision with the motorized lens. For a more efficient operation of the system, an NVR unit was provided in the control room. The recording of the images transmitted by the surveillance cameras is carried out regardless of whether the operators view the images or not. Since the storage space will be limited, the solution will be programmed so that, when the available storage space i
