Description - Bybanen development is in the process of preparing the procurement plan for the construction of Bybanen construction step 5 from central Bergen to Åsane. The fifth construction stage runs from the center through Åsane to Vågsbotn, together with a connected cycle route and extension of the Fløyfjell tunnel to Eidsvåg. According to the plan, the line will be realized in two construction stages. The first stage is approx. 2.5 km of double track from the center to Amalie Skrams vei (Sandviken) with a possible opening in 2028.
