Description - Description: The New Coastal Road (NRL) operation extends over a total length of approximately 12.5 km between the western entrance of Saint-Denis and La Possession. It was declared of Public Utility on March 7, 2012. The purpose of this new road inf rastructure is to secure the connection between Saint-Denis and La Possession. It is thus located mainly at sea away from the cliff. It is designed for a lifespan of 100 years, particularly with regard to maritime constraints (hundred-year cyclonic swell).
