Description - Town of Alameda Lagoon Upgrades Synopsis: The Town of Alameda is located 240 km southeast of Regina, and a 30 km drive to the nearest US Border Crossing. It has a population of 345 (Census 2021.) The Town of Alameda was approved for funding by ICIP and is undertaking an upgrade to their lagoon. The total project cost is anticipated to be no more than $2,682,000.The current lagoon has been flagged by the Water Security Agency as over-capacity for treatment parameters and near/at allowable storage capacity for their current population.
