Description - Description: The prime objective of this treatment will be vegetation and fuel management to be treated within the Town of Rainbow Lake totaling 33.08 hectares. These treated blocks are to help lessen fire intensity through spacing and the removal of ground and ladder fuels, dead and downed debris as well as emerging conifer understory. For this project a combination of mechanical mulching equipment and hand felling and pruning will be used. Pruning and thinning the Deciduous stands within the community will reduce the fuel continuity and loading, wildfire intensity, crowning potential and ember transport. The above-mentioned blocks have a high fuel load of lesser vegetation, dead and downed
