Description - Description: The Town of Sexsmith is a small rural community with a drainage basin that flows into Sexsmith Creek, a part of the Kleskun Lake drainage basin. The Town has experienced several storm and spring melt events that have had a negative impac t on the drainage system as well as public and Town infrastructure. The Town completed the Stormwater Master Plan and Basin Study which identified a range of stormwater drainage and flood mitigation works that will protect the Town from local and regional flooding. Projects completed in Phase I included: • Improvements to the Sexsmith Creek channel, particularly the existing culverts that are a restriction to the flow or in poor condition. •
