Description - Description: In the Ecology and Accumulation Framework (KEC), the effects of offshore wind farms on the population of, among others, the common and gray seals are calculated. To carry out these calculations, a map showing the distribution and densiti es of these seals is required. KEC 4.0 uses modeled maps based on all available transmitter data up to the last collected in 2019. In the following years until 2023, no more wild Dutch seals were tagged, and therefore no suitable new data has been collected. It is therefore not possible to create a new map with more recent data.
