Description - Description: The aim of the assignment is to inventory the provincial lichen monitoring network in the Province of Friesland. By determining the species compositions of lichens, the monitoring network aims to provide insight into the State of Conserv ation (SvI) of lichens at provincial level and Natura 2000 areas. The assignment also provides insight into the effects of nitrogen deposition on the composition of the monitored lichens and insight into the occurrence and distribution of rare species (Red List lichens) per area.
