Description - Description: In Baden-Württemberg, there are HWGKs covering around 11,300 kilometers of river, which are to be updated step by step. The HWGKs meet the requirements of the EC-HWRM-RL and the very high requirements of Section 65 of the BW Water Act. They have a direct legal effect, which is why the quality requirements are correspondingly high. As part of the update, hydraulic calculations are also carried out in the individual projects.
