Description - Description: As part of the THT connection project for the Nant-de-Drance power station, the Batiaz substation was transformed into 380 kV to allow connection to the 380 kV network. The overhead substation (AIS) working at the 220 kV level is no long er in service.A new 380 kV gas-insulated substation (GIS) was built and the substation's internal connections were gradually modified following the different stages of Swissgrid's EHT connection program.
