Description - Description: For the disposal of the irradiated fuel elements of the Berlin Experimental Reactor II (BER II), the Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin für Materialien und Energie GmbH (HZB) has specified the dry loading of two CASTOR® MTR3 containers in an ada pted form developed in 2018 as the preferred variant. The adaptation consists in placing the CASTOR® MTR3 container for loading not on the low bed, but instead on the floor of the experimental hall (E-Hall).
