Description - Description: Vantaan Energia Oy's goal is to be fossil-free energy production by 2026 and carbon-negative by 2030. As part of the strategy, Vantaan Energia Oy is building new district heating production capacity in the Martinlaakso power plant area i n Vantaa. The new capacity consists of a 60 MW hot water electric boiler, a 15,000 m3 district heating battery and the necessary auxiliary equipment and systems. The project has been named the VEEB project. The new capacity to be built is intended to be put into commercial use in autumn 2025.
