Description - Description: The State is seeking a New Licensee who is capable of establishing, operating and maintaining a Monitoring System for the purpose of monitoring the Gaming Machines in all Victorian gaming Venues (excluding those located in the Melbourne casino). All Gaming Machines in Victoria, outside the Melbourne casino, must be connected to the Monitoring System. By Ministerial direction in October 2014 under the Gambling Regulation Act 2003 (Act), the number of Gaming Machines permitted to operate in Victorian hotels and clubs is currently limited to a maximum of 27,372.
