Description - This Virtual Mail Room, Document Scanning and Data Extraction Contract will provide HM Land Registry with a central mail room where items (envelopes, packets or parcels which may contain one or more documents) are received, sorted and the contents ar e prepped for scanning. Once scanned, documents are needed to be classified and where directed, data extractions are required, following which images and meta-data are submitted to HMLR. Old style deeds, large format plans and cheques/cherished items are also processed.This was procured via a further competition using Crown Commercial Services RM6017 - Postal Goods, Services and Solutions Lot 9 Mail Opening and Digital Scanning Services
