Description - Description: Background Vulcan County Emergency Services current Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)'s were purchased in 2012 with a planned life cycle replacement schedule of 15 years (2027). Vulcan provides emergency services to areas of Vulc an County under a Fire and Rescue Services Agreements. Scope The purpose of this RFP is to select one qualified Proponent, with experience in supplying, supporting and providing ongoing maintenance of SCBA equipment for Vulcan County fire departments. This process will be open to all and will not exclude any SCBA manufactures. 1. Vulcan Emergency Services (VCES) is a Paid On Call Service which relies heavily on the use of volunteer firefighters.
