Description - Description: The National Park Service is considering a contract to Repave Willow Beach Road in Lake Mead National Recreation Area near Boulder City, Nevada. Willow Beach road is the only road into the Willow Beach developed area containing a marina, boat ramp, campground, and fish hatchery. The proposed project is needed because the road has reached the end of its serviceable life. The pavement of the roadway has settled in places creating an uneven surface containing potholes, cracks, and flood debris making driving problematic.
